Steps Action needs to be performed:-
1 Initiate OEM to SNOW Configuration
2 Ports needs to be opened 161/162/163 from destination to source server
3 Pre requirements
a) SNMP V1/V2 should be configured at device end to the Tivoli server.
b) MIB files need to be shared for the device where trap details will be mentioned.
c) Port 163 should be opened from device to the Tivoli server.
4 SNMP TRAP needs to be checked - This will send the oem alerts to probe server ( Monitoring server)
5 TRAP will convert into INC in SNOW
6 Filtering the OEM alerts based on FATAL, CRITICAL i.e we need inc based on critical & fatal oem alerts
You can set the SNMP Trap once Port is opened.
