How to configure ASM instance matric in OEM?

First of all, go to Target à All Target

Now search ASM instances

You will get ASM instances

In “Summary” section, you can see that Alert Log status is Unavailable

Click on “Automatic Storage Management” à Monitoring à Metric and Collection Settings

You can see the ASM Alert Log status is disabled so click on “Disabled”

Now you can see that ASM Alert Log is Enabled and Click on “Continue” tab.

Now Click on “OK” tab

Again click on “OK”

You can see that the Alert Log is being monitored by OEM

Now we are going to Configure Disk Group Matric for ASM

Click on Monitoring à Metric and Collection Errors

Click on “All metrics”

You can see that thresholds value have not been defined.

Now we are defining metrics First Column is “Warning” and Second Column is for “Critical”

Click on “OK” tab

Click on “OK”
